August Bloom Day

Sedum freak out

It’s the 15th, which means it’s Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day. We have mass quantities of this white blooming sedum album. I constantly chuck this in the compost bin, so if anyone wants some just let us know.

Senecio kleiniiformis

This guy went crazy and I had to divide it last month. The newly planted divisions look a little sad, but I think they’ll tough it out.

Echeveria spp.

I don’t remember what species this guy is, but I love it!

Cerinthe blooms

Matti started these guys from seed back in the day and they’re all starting to flower. We’ve had some pest issues (cabbage worms) on a few plants, but this one is pretty.

Fuchsia ‘Fanfare’

Our first two blooms on the Fuchsia ‘Fanfare’ we picked up at Annie’s were hiding. It continues to look happy. I keep wanting to buy more fuchsia. It’s like plant crack.

Sunny sedum

Mystery crassula

We’re not always so good about keeping track of our our plant names. Sometimes I’m too lazy to look them up.

Fuchsia ‘Venezuela’ and Cerinthe

Cerinthe and Fuchsia ‘Venezuela’ from Annie’s. I think we’re up to five fuchsias now. Happy bloom day!
