B n A Succulent Container

Reason #47 Why We Love Gardening:  Before and After.  If you think a plant container looks good now…wait a couple weeks…chances are it will look even better.

We came across an old photo of this container full of succulents that we planted six months ago.  What we are looking at above is the largest, round, terracotta container at the top of the photo with about 10 succulent cuttings in it.  It has some Euphorbia, Echeveria, Aloe, Sedum, etc.

And one month later, Aug 2009…I really thought this container designed with succulents was looking great.  I was not certain that Pencil Cactus, Euphorbia tirucalli, was going to make it.

1 month later.

This past weekend, snapped some photos when the sun was shining strong.  Boy has it come to life.  Sedum makes such great filler too.
